VR Medieval Mysteries created by The Guilty Villagers
VR Medieval Mysteries is the first VR game made for vision-impaired people. Players move around by tilting their head, and make choices by fixing their gaze on noisy characters or props. Every object in the scene makes a sound regularly and will be named if gazed at.
The project was made by a student group at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, Adelaide, South Australia, in 2016. Voice actors from the Adelaide College of the Arts donated the voices, sound engineers from SAE Adelaide donated their time and studio space, and vision impaired people from the Royal Society for Blind People spent hours providing feedback and guidance.,
