SOUND EFFECTS
Here are Kyle, Mason and Alex who worked so hard on the sound effects in a totally voluntary capacity.
They are all completing their Diploma of Sound Production at SAE Adelaide. The team recorded 168 original sound effects with a lot of experimentation, trial and error, clocking up more than 30 hours at the recording studio not counting planning and preparation.
When asked about their experience, they spoke as one: the best part was thinking of the context of each sound and imagining how to make it.
What a great team, still good humoured after giving up their holiday break for this huge creative effort. They even delivered a week earlier than promised.

Mason Jupe
Sound engineer
Another person who is making sound recording his career, Mason says the part he enjoyed most was making original sounds. We have decided Mason is an SFX star, since he made such a good frog and pigs. But his Mason’s water drop sounds are his best. Perhaps he was a drop of water in another life. Mason can be contacted at mason.l.jupe@gmail.com.

Alex Knott
Sound engineer
Alex was most enthused with the creative process of deciding how to make a completely new sound. He brims with ideas and couldn't even decide which part he enjoyed most, he enjoyed it all. Thank you, Alex! Alex can be contacted at tearacotta@gmail.com |
