Johann Dreyer

Campus Manager, SAE Adelaide

Johann is our hero as he helped us out when we came to him in a time of need.  He arranged for James to spend many out-of-work hours recording the Adelaide College of the Arts actors with the help of SAE students, and then Kyle and his team to spend their holidays recording wacky and wonderful sound effects using SAE state-of-the-art recording equipment.

Without Johann we would not have the sound quality needed for our game.  Now the actors have had the best possible recordings and players can pinpoint where a sound is coming from merely by turning their heads.

We hope the game does justice to all the help that was provided to us.

James Chang

James gave up evenings and Father’s Day morning (!) to show his students at SAE how to record sound for us.  Always cheerful and encouraging to voice actors and students alike, he was unfailingly patient and positive.  He knew exactly when to advise actors to take a break and how to get them to do their best work.

We have decided that James must sleep at SAE and the next mystery we want to solve is where his bed is so we can apple pie it.

Mason Jupe

Where would we be without our sound engineers?  Mason is earning his Sound Production diploma at SAE.  With little experience in voice-overs, he took on the task over several evenings and recorded our actors.  When recordings had to be repeated, he encouraged the actors with tact and patience.  We are grateful for his efficient accurate work.

Michael Downing

SAE sound production engineer Michael Downing helped us out in his own time as well.  We think he was trying to race James, but no one can beat James!  The sound engineers are using ProTools on a desk as long as a village hut.
